Rogers RT / Duroid 5880 high frequency Teflon PCB is PTFE glass fiber reinforced material. These microfibers are randomly distributed within the material, providing maximum strength enhancement for circuit application and circuit production processes.


Rogers RT / Duroid 5880 has the lowest dielectric constant of its kind, and its extremely low dielectric loss makes them very suitable for high frequency and wide-band applications requiring minimum dispersion and loss. In addition, the very low moisture absorption of RT / Duroid 5880 makes it an ideal choice for applications in high humidity environments.


RT / Duroid 5880 can be easily cut into the desired shape, and it can resist the corrosion of all solutions and reagents used in the process of etching and plating through holes. RT / Duroid 5870 and 5880 laminates have the lowest dielectric loss, low moisture absorption, isotropy, and little change in electrical properties with frequency.


In order to meet the increasingly stringent requirements of high-frequency circuit design for PCBs, Rogers PCB has launched a new generation of high-frequency laminate RT / Duroid 5880, which is made of polytetrafluoroethylene glass fiber reinforced material. The micro fibers in the board are randomly distributed in the material, which can greatly guarantee the strength requirements of the board in the circuit application and production process. Compared with similar materials on the market, RT / Duroid 5880 has the lowest dielectric constant, and its dielectric constant is 2.20 ± 0.02 when measured at 10 GHz ipc-tm 2.5.5.5 standard. At the same time, the dielectric loss of the plate is only 0.0009 measured under the same standard. The extremely low dielectric loss makes it very suitable for high frequency and wide band applications requiring minimum dispersion and loss. Its maximum support frequency can reach Ku band or even higher frequency. In addition, RT / Duroid 5880 has a very low moisture absorption rate of 0.02%, which makes it an ideal choice for high humidity applications.


Rogers RT / Duroid 5880 PCB can be easily cut into the desired shape, which can perfectly meet the requirements of various cavity structures on Rogers PCB shape in high frequency applications. Moreover, the thickness of electrodeposited copper supported by RT / Duroid 5880 as high frequency laminate is 8 ~ 70UM, and this kind of high frequency laminate can resist the corrosion of various acid and alkali reagents used in the processing process and the test of various high and low temperature processing processes. RT / Duroid 5870 has the lowest dielectric loss, low moisture absorption rate, isotropy and little variation of electrical properties with frequency, which makes it used in commercial aviation telephone circuits, microstrip and stripline circuits, millimeter wave applications, military radar systems, missile guidance systems, and point-to-point digital radio antennas.
