Rogers R03000 Series including RO3003, RO3035, RO3006, RO3010.

RO3000 high frequency circuit material is a ceramic filled teflon composite material used in commercial microwave and radio frequency applications.

This series of products is designed to provide excellent electrical and mechanical stability at a competitive price.

RO3000 series laminates are ceramic-filled polytetrafluorovinyl circuit materials. No matter which dielectric constant is selected, their mechanical properties are consistent. This allows designers to develop multi-layer pcb designs, using different dielectric constant materials in each layer, without encountering warpage or reliability issues.

The coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of RO3000 material on the X-axis and Y-axis is 17 ppm/o C. This coefficient of expansion matches that of copper, which makes the material have excellent dimensional stability, and the typical etching shrinkage (after etching and baking) is less than 0.5 mil/inch. The Z-axis CTE is 24 ppm/°C, which can provide excellent plated through-hole reliability even in harsh thermal environments. The relationship between the dielectric constant of RO3003 and temperature™ RO3035 and RO3035™ materials are very stable (Figure 1).

RO3000 series laminates can be manufactured into printed circuit boards using standard teflon pcb processing technology, with minor modifications described in the application note "RO3000 Series High Frequency Circuit Material Manufacturing Guidelines". RO3000 laminates are manufactured under the ISO 9001 certification system.
