Which boards are mainly used for Rogers high-frequency board proofing?

High-frequency board refers to a special circuit board with a higher electromagnetic frequency, which is often used in automobile anti-collision systems, satellite systems, radio systems and other fields. So, which materials are mainly used for Rogers high-frequency board proofing?

1, Rogers 4350B

RO4350B is a high-frequency board model produced by Rogers Corporation in the United States. It is different from conventional PCB board epoxy resins, and it is based on ceramic-based high-frequency materials. When the circuit operating frequency is above 500MHz, the range of materials that design engineers can choose is greatly reduced. RO4350B material can meet the specific requirements of engineers for designing circuits, such as network matching and impedance control of transmission lines. Due to its low dielectric loss characteristics, in high-frequency applications, R04350B material has more advantages than ordinary circuit materials. Its dielectric constant with temperature fluctuation is almost the lowest among similar materials; in a wide frequency range, its dielectric The constant is also quite stable, reaching 3.48, while the design recommended value is 3.66.

2, Rogers 5880

RO5880 is a new generation of high-frequency board material launched by Rogers Corporation of the United States in response to the increasingly stringent requirements of high-frequency circuit design for plates. It is made of PTFE glass fiber reinforced materials and is currently widely used in microwave boards. The microwave circuit market has been greatly developed in the past few decades. From the application of waveguides to low-cost substrates, Rogers is always ahead of the technical field of microwave substrates and provides more choices of microwave plates. Rogers 5880 has the lowest dielectric constant, measured under the 10GHz IPC-TM 2.5.5.5 standard, and its dielectric constant is 2.20±0.02. At the same time, the dielectric loss of the plate is only 0.0009 measured under the same standard, and its highest supported frequency can reach the Ku band or even higher frequencies. In addition, it has a moisture absorption rate as low as 0.02%, making it ideal for applications in high humidity environments.

The above are some of the materials used in Rogers's high-frequency board proofing. Do you know everything?
