What is the difference between Rogers RO4835 and Rogres RO4350B PCB sheets

The dielectric constant and dissipation factor of the Rogers RO4835 and Rogers RO4350B plates are basically the same. The difference is that the Rogers RO4835 plate adds an antioxidant filler to the Rogers RO4350B plate. It has passed the automotive safety test and is suitable for automotive anti-collision radars. Antenna products, automotive millimeter wave radar and other automotive electronics.

Rogers RO4350B and Rogers RO4835 both belong to Rogers RO4000 series hydrocarbon resin and ceramic filler PCB boards, which are civil materials. Both sheets are compatible with FR-4 mixed pressure, FR-4 processing technology, and lead-free soldering process capabilities, ensuring that PCB processing plants only need to have lower processing capabilities and reduce customers' PCB processing costs.

What is the difference between Rogers RO4835 and Rogres RO4350B PCB sheets

The biggest difference between Rogers RO4350B and Rogers RO4835 is that Rogers RO4835 adds antioxidants. Compared with traditional thermosetting materials, the oxidation resistance is increased by 10 times, and it meets the requirements of IPC-4103 (substrate specifications for high-speed and high-frequency applications). Rogers RO4835 adds anti-oxidation material, which has stronger oxidation resistance than Rogers RO4350B. Except for the difference between Dk and Df, the temperature characteristics of Dk are relatively worse for products with glass cloth, and the requirements for the temperature range of the product are higher. The coefficient of thermal expansion becomes worse, especially in the z-axis, and the relative number of layers of the product will decrease. The phase characteristics of high frequency are relatively worse, and products with strict requirements on the phase should be avoided. The advantage is that the dimensional stability, hardness and water absorption of the product are relatively good.
