What are the common PCB board models?

PCB board model is one of the main factors affecting the price of pcb board, and the price of pcb board of different models is also different. Today, the editor has sorted out some common pcb board models to share with you.

94HB: Ordinary cardboard, not fireproof.
94V0: Flame-retardant cardboard.
22F: Single-sided half glass fiber board.
CEM-1: Single-sided fiberglass board.
CEM-3: Double-sided half glass fiber board.
FR-4: Double-sided fiberglass board.


What are the common PCB board models?

(1) The grade of flame retardant properties can be divided into 94V-0/V-1/V-2, 94-HB
(2) Semi-cured film: 1080=0.0712mm, 2116=0.1143mm, 7628=0.1778mm.
(3) FR4 and CEM-3 are all plates, fr4 is glass fiber board, and cem3 is composite substrate.
(4) Halogen-free refers to the base material that does not contain halogen (fluorine, bromine, iodine and other elements), because bromine will produce toxic gas when burned, environmental protection requirements.
(5) Tg is the glass transition temperature, that is, the melting point.
      The PCB board must be flame-resistant, cannot burn at a certain temperature, but can only be softened. The temperature point at this time is called the glass transition temperature (Tg point), and this value is related to the dimensional stability of the PCB board.

Common PCB board models, NEMA standards stipulate as follows:
FR-1:
      Flame retardant copper clad phenolic paper laminate. IPC4101 detailed specification number 02; Tg N/A;
FR-4:
      1) Flame-retardant copper clad epoxy E glass fiber cloth laminate and its bonding sheet material. IPC4101 detailed specification number 21; Tg≥100℃;
      2) Flame-retardant copper-clad modified or unmodified epoxy E glass fiber cloth laminate and its bonding sheet material. IPC4101 detailed specification number 24; Tg 150℃~200℃;
      3) Flame-retardant copper clad epoxy/PPO glass cloth laminate and its bonding sheet material. IPC4101 detailed specification number 25; Tg 150℃~200℃;
      4) Flame-retardant copper-clad modified or unmodified epoxy glass cloth laminate and its bonding sheet material. IPC4101 detailed specification number 26; Tg 170℃~220℃;
      5) Flame-retardant copper-clad epoxy E glass cloth laminate (used for catalytic addition method). IPC4101 detailed specification number 82; Tg N/A.
