Rogers RO3003 high-frequency circuit material is a ceramic-filled polytetrafluoroethylene composite for commercial microwave and radio frequency applications.


Rogers RO3003 is designed to provide superior electrical and mechanical stability at competitive prices.

RO3000 series laminates are ceramic-filled polytetrafluoroethylene-based circuit materials. No matter what dielectric constant is selected, their mechanical properties are consistent. This allows designers to develop multi-layer board designs with different dielectric constant materials on each layer without warpage or reliability problems.


RO3000 exhibits CTE on the X and Y axes of 17 ppm / o C. The expansion coefficient matches the expansion coefficient of copper, which makes the material have good dimensional stability, and the typical etching shrinkage (after etching and baking) is less than 0.5 mils/inch. The z-axis CTE is 24 ppm / ° C, providing excellent plating through-hole reliability even in harsh thermal environments. The RO3000 series laminates can be fabricated into printed circuit boards using standard polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) circuit board processing techniques, with minor modifications as described in the application instructions "manufacturing guidelines for ro3000 series high-frequency circuit materials.
