1. ICT or functional test passed the standard

The ultimate goal of PCBA inspection is to pass the inspection of each PCBA board before leaving the factory. The most commonly used is ICT circuit inspection. As long as a very simple ICT test frame is made, 100% of the PCBA boards produced can be inspected. The PCBA board that has passed the ICT test is regarded as part of the finished product with a 90% probability.

Each PCBA processing plant has an OQA factory inspection post to perform visual inspection of the PCBA board before leaving the factory (partially assist some professional instruments) to ensure that there are no obvious reliability problems, such as insufficient tin thickness, partial damage to components, etc.

In order to ensure strict PCBA board inspection standards, it is necessary to conduct random inspections and aging tests on PCBA boards. Generally speaking, it is frequent power-on and power-off or long-term power-on operation (based on PCBA board firing procedures). In addition, you can also use professional instruments to detect electromagnetic compatibility, power/voltage input and output signal stability, etc. This test takes a lot of time and can only be partially tested. Of course, at the request of the customer, sufficient cooperation is also required.
